When we started looking for a new family Aussie to help us heal from our loss from our beloved Aussie, Quincy we first came across Paisley, who we very quickly found out she was the average Aussie, shy at first when meeting new people and not out going! Something we didn't want for breeding. 3 short months later we found Ellie and she is perfect! Ellie is a very correct and sound female. when selecting a female for breeding we knew it wasn't going to be a short wait to see if she would pass our standards that we knew we wanted to have in a bitch before breeding. At a year old we had Ellie tested through OFA for her hips and elbows at a preliminary age. Her prelim results came back at excellent hips and normal elbows. We also had a dna test done to see if there were any breed specific health issues she carried. When Ellie turned 2 we had her final X-rays taken for OFA and she came back with flying colors, EXCELLENT hips and NORMAL elbows. We are beyond happy with her results. After breeding Ellie she came down with pyometra. Unfortunately the best thing for Ellie was to spay her. While we extremely heartbroken with the outcome we did what was best for Ellie. We will start to look for another female to continue our breeding program. Please follow for updates. They will be posted here and on our Facebook page.
